Gravenstein Apple, Bacon and Cheese Tart

Ingredients:
* 9" prepared pie crust
* 3 eggs
* 1/4 cup creme fraiche
* 6 oz. diced Muenster cheese
* 1 1/2 cups peeled and coarsely chopped Gravenstein apples
* 1/3 cup cooked bacon, minced
* 1/4 teaspoon salt & pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 400F
In a large bowl beat the eggs and the creme fraiche together. Stir in the cheese, apples, bacon, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350F and continue cooking for 40-45 minutes. Enjoy with Dutton Estate 2008 Kyndall's Chardonnay!
